fitandhappy was founded by Edinburgh based, female personal trainer and nutrition coach Julia McCabe.
She is motivated by helping as many women as possible to free themselves from yo-yo dieting and unhappy relationships with their bodies.

She is passionate about delicious, nutritious food that is simple to make and will feed her family. Julia loves the outdoors and playing the piano.

Linda Hardie, Personal trainer and fitandhappy Senior Coach.
Linda is a passionate and enthusiastic Personal Trainer with a specialism in pre and post natal exercise. Linda loves supporting others to achieve their health and fitness goals and has a wonderful way to connect with people and help them be the best they can be.
Having been a competitive swimmer in her youth she now enjoys competing in triathlons when family life allows!
Linda is another one of our coaches you might spot on her bike cycling to personal training or boot camp....she is just much faster than the rest of us!
Linda works 1:1 with weight loss clients as well as pre and post natal clients. She also coaches our boot camp for women in various parks throughout Edinburgh.
Amy Zarzo, Personal Trainer, Nutrition Coach and fitandhappy Boot Camp Coach
Amy has always been into sports and healthy living and has a background in dance as well as triathlons and volleyball. It's safe to say she is an allrounder!
Her biggest passion is food, Amy loves cooking tasty and healthy food for her family and she is qualified as a nutrition coach as well as a personal trainer. Amy has two young children and knows first hand how challenging it can be to juggle healthy living and a busy family and work life!
You can spot Amy on her bike cycling between boot camps and PT clients throughout Edinburgh.

Julie Rogers, Personal Trainer and fitandhappy Boot Camp Coach
Julie has always loved exercising outdoors, be it running, cycling, hiking or boot-camping! In fact, Julie was one of our original boot campers and has been with us right from the beginning!
She has a grown up family and understands the challenges of prioritising your own health and fitness goals whilst raising a family, running a household, and holding down a busy career!
Julie previously worked for Edinburgh Active Schools Department, as a running coach, and also has a long career as a family nanny.
Julie is very excited to work for fitandhappy and you can join in with her energetic, fun boot camp sessions in Spylaw Park, Colinton or meet her on a 1:1 basis for Personal Training.
Cheryl Conroy, Personal Trainer and fitandhappy Boot Camp coach
Cheryl has always been involved in sport be it sprinting, kickboxing, urban triathlon or fun runs. She is passionate about movement and how it makes you feel and loves to help women get active and gain confidence in themselves and their bodies.
Cheryl has a secret passion for numbers and when not helping Edinburgh women get fitter and stronger she works as a legal cashier.
Cheryl coahces some of our Blackhall boot camps as well as 1:1 sessions throughout Edinburgh.
Sophie McAuliffe, fitandhappy Boot Camp Coach
Sophie is a fully qualified Personal Trainer and 3rd year physiotherapy student.
She is passionate about making exercise fun and accessible for all and has experience of working with a wide range of people. As a physio student she really knows how the body works and how to adopt exercises to suit individual needs.
Sophie has a background in dance and she moves more beautifully than the rest of us...

Emma Fulton, fitandhappy Boot Camp Coach
Emma is a fully qualified Personal Trainer and Boot Camp Coach. She is passionate about fitness and well-being and moved to Edinburgh to study PE at Edinburgh University.
Emma hopes to continue to teach fitness classes long into her career as a PE teacher and keep motivating all to lead a happier and healthier life.

Zoe is a fully qualified and experienced Personal Trainer and Boot Camp Coach. She is passionate about empowering women to look after their bodies and feel good about themselves.
Zoe is a figure skater who competes internationally and an expert in stretching and flexibility. It's safe to say she is the bendiest of all fitandhappy coaches!
