NHS Lothian Staff - you are invited to get fit in nature. We meet on the grounds of the Astley Ainslie Hospital for a friendly and fun workout.

We welcome all ages, body shapes, and confidence levels.

Meet us outside the Occupational Therapy Building on Mondays from 4.40pm - 5.25pm.

Each class is different, you'll never be bored. You'll work your entire body, training all aspects of fitness including strength, cardio, agility and balance.

Where and When

Mondays at 4.40 pm for 45min 

Meet us on the grounds in front of the Occupational Therapy Building at the Astley Ainslie hospital. 

 You are welcome to join in at any time.

Your coach Laura will be waiting for you!

What to bring:

  • Clothes you feel comfortable moving in
  • Water bottle 
  • A pair of outdoor trainers
  • A pair of gloves, waterproof are ideal (some people just bring gardening gloves!)
  • A smile on your face

Laura Jones

Meet your coach Laura:

Laura is an ex-probation officer, who changed careers to become a personal trainer and wellbeing coach. She created more balance in her own life and loves to support others to make positive changes in their lives that they never thought would be possible.

Laura has just returned from 5 years in New Zealand working as a Personal Trainer in Wellington. When Laura isn’t at work she will be found out on the mountain biking trails having a blast, or in the gym lifting weights.
